1. 25 th World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (WAAVP) Conference
August 16-20, 2015, Liverpool, UK
WAAVP 2015 will bring together parasitologists from around the world to present and discuss the latest advances in their research as well as important issues relevant to veterinary parasitology. The theme for the 2015 conference is "looking to the future." The scientific program has been designed to bring together leading scientists who use cutting edge technologies, including specialists in parasiticide resistance, novel diagnostic methodology, and modelling and climate change, among many other topics.
2. International conference on Parasitology
August 24-26, 2015, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
The theme of the conference is "Addressing New Challenges and Emerging Issues in Parasitology."
The scientific program of the conference is broad and embraces different research aspects with a focus on applied and ecological parasitology, and in particular with a veterinary and medical interest. The conference will include invited speakers, oral presentations, poster session, and the young scientist award.
3. Molecular and cellular biology of helminthic parasites
August 31 to September 5, 2015, Hydra, Greece
Conferences on the Molecular and Cellular Biology of Helminth Parasites have been an integral part of the rapid development of this whole field. All major areas of helminth research are included in 12 thematic sessions. An important aspect of this meeting is the interface between parasite biologists and investigators from worm model systems such as Caenorhabditis elegans, which is proving highly effective at bringing new blood and fresh perspectives into the field. The conferences offer a special atmosphere of concentrated science, interactive discussions, and generous opportunities for informal follow-ups.
4. 9 th Annual Congress of Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology
September 3-6, 2015, Madurai Medical College, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
The theme of the preconference workshop and CME are "Laboratory techniques in diagnosis of lymphatic filariasis and soil-borne nematodes" and "Food-borne parasites - Food safety in parasites," respectively. Various symposia on research methodology about parasitic diseases, vector borne parasitic diseases, intestinal parasites, and trematodes are organized. Speakers (National and International faculties) will grace the conference and present their experiences. Oral and poster presentations along with a postgraduate quiz program are organized in this conference.
5. 14 th International Conference on Trichinellosis
September 14-18, 2015, Berlin
This conference will be of interest to all scientists, experts, and other groups who are working in the field of trichinellosis. The scientific program will mainly focus on the biology of Trichinella, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and control of this important zoonotic disease, which affects a wide range of veterinary and public health issues.
6. 2 nd International Symposium on Clinical Pharmacology of Antimalaria Agents
December 14-15, 2015, Accra, Ghana
The International Symposium on Clinical Pharmacology is, held every 2 years and gathers scientists and health, professionals across the globe to brainstorm through latest development in Malaria, which is one of the most important public health issues. The second International Symposium on Clinical Pharmacology of Antimalaria agents will, therefore, provide scientists around the world with an extraordinary opportunity to exchange ideas on antimalaria agents concerning their mechanisms of action, mode of resistance, PK/PD portfolio, vaccine strategies as well as bioinformatics, and proteomics.
7. Advances in Nematology
December 15, 2015, London, UK
This conference invites contributions from all areas of Nematology. It provides students opportunity to participate both in the platform presentations and poster session. A prize is given for the best student oral presentation. This conference provides an excellent opportunity for networking with the UK and European nematologists.
Accepted papers from the conference will be published as abstracts and will be available to delegates at the conference.
8. Molecular Approaches to Malaria (MAM)
February 21-25, 2016, Lorne, Australia
MAM2016 will highlight the latest molecular advances in our understanding of host cell invasion, virulence mechanisms, immunity and pathogenesis, drug resistance, drug and vaccine approaches, population biology, transmission and epidemiology. The meeting will focus on multiple Plasmodium species including Plasmodium vivax and its latent stage in the liver as well as host-parasite interactions in both human and the mosquito vector. The central goal of the meeting is to provide new insights into the science, technologies and novel tools required to combat malaria. MAM2016 will feature leading experts in the field while maintaining ample opportunities for young researchers and scientists from malaria endemic countries to showcase their research through selected talks and posters from submitted abstracts.
9. 27 th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Parasitology
March 9-12, 2016, University of Göttingen (Germany)
The scientific program of the conference would reflect the different disciplines that cover the field of parasitology. Both, the basic biology of parasites as well as applied, translational research will be represented within the conference. Plenary sessions, thematic workshops and oral/poster presentations are organized to encourage young parasitologists to present their latest results to a wider audience and to exchange ideas.
